Situation
The Comoros is an archipelago consisting of three islands in the Indian Ocean. As a Small Island Developing State (SIDS), the country holds a special status recognized by the UN due to its size, low level of development, and unique geographical location. The local socioeconomic reality is characterized by severely dilapidated infrastructure and limited access to technical training.
In the technical field, training is primarily based on an informal model whereby craftsmen pass on their knowledge through observation, with no structured educational framework, theoretical foundation or suitable tools.
